I believe everyone has one true talent - somthing at which they excel and have a passion for. For me, this talent is design. I often joke with friends that my skills are in "making stuff pretty".
In order to create my designs I draw inspiration from everything around me. The fashion world with its textures, patterns and the various combinations of lines and colours often strikes me as a main source of creativity. Having also studied Interior Design I also draw ideas from architecture and paint pallettes.
My approach to design is often one of complicated simplicity. Something that at first glance seems simple or understated, but may in fact contain a lot of small details that make it unique and fun. It is so often the littlest features that can take a design from monotone to full spectrum.
Whatever the project I like to make it one of a kind. A piece that will fully showcase the individual job.
